Hey. I'm about to buy a new 90 s10 daily driver.... has the 4.3 and a solid body so i thought id be a great daily. Here's the problem... the guy who has it (original owner) said he was messing with the headliner because it was sagging and was messing with the dome light and shorted out the circuit to the dome light, radio, and blow fan for the ac. He said he tried replacing the fuse and they'd just pop like right away... can someone tell me how I go about fixing this issue? I don't have the truck yet but im assuming maybe something in the dome light is bare and touching some metal or something... any idea how to go about fixing this? The heat and ac are supposed to work fine but the blower fan won't work so that kinda limits things!

Thanks guys!

P.S. I posted this on s10 forum also to try to get a better chance of having someone respond. Thanks again for any input.

You got the right idea, start at the dome light and work your way out. if he says it happened when he was f*ckin with the head liner somethin may be grounded out in there. I dont remember the blower moter being on that circuit but maybe.
