hello everyone, first off i have a 95 ford crew cab 2wd diesel, i know most of you probally like chevys, so try to take it easy on me. the questions that i have are, does any one on here use thier trucks to tow with after dropping them? i have to tow a two place gooseneck car trailer right now with it, and a three place later in the range of 20,000 to 25,000 pounds loaded with my lowriders. just wondering if any one has any input on this. i dont want to get real crazy, i was just thinking of gettin a 3/5 drop cause thats whats available for the ford, actually i'll probally fabricate the whole thing myself. I was also thinking of doing full auot air ride like semi's have but om not sure. any info would help. thanks

welcome to the best dually site on the net. Sorry to hear about your ford problem. LOL

Anyways I have a 2000 chevy crew cab dually that is bagged and bodydropped on 19's and I tow a 10,000 lb travel trailer with it. There should be no reason not to tow up to the manufacturers tow ratings if you do it right. If you are unsure about your fab skills pay someone that does know to do it. Or they probably make a bolt on bag kit that will allow you to tow what you need. Hit me up if you need more info or need some parts to get that badboy on the ground.

as long as you like to have six wheels on your truck and don't mind a little sexual harassment you should fit in here

welcome to the site and for being a fellow notherner, we have a lil north south thing going on here, but anyways glad to see another ford guy, i own a i beamer ranger, but also i am the dysfunctional one of the group since i have a 3500 crewcab long bed non dually i got the 2 wheel less truck when mine was born but they still let me hang out. . anyways like everyone else i am towing with my bodydropped on 22's and i have a hidden hitch but as long as you or your welded is good and it is build strong and right, you should be able to tow anything, just over build it for strength and dont skimp, do it right the first time good luck and show us some pics, we like pics

welcome to the site, I pretty much agree with everyone else, for the most part we all tow with our trucks here. some static dropped, some fully bagged, and others bagged and bodydropped, but as long as it's done right, and done good and strong, you won't ever have any problems......

i should have no problem with the fabbing, i will completly fab the drop i beams from raw tube steel (i work at a steel warehouse)for the front and i will notch the rear and then plate both sides the whole back half of the frame. should be strong enough. Oh yeah and - i like my ford, i also have a 1 ton chevy that just wasnt working for me, sorry chev guys, love the looks of them though
