i have a 5 speed. T5 from an '87 firebird. when it breaks i will probably go to a T56.
i had to upgrade the clutch cylinder to 1" bore to get enough fluid to move in the short stroke of the mazda clutch pedal. other than that it's pretty straight forward.
oh, a 1" bore clutch cylinder is very stiff by the way. there's probably a better method to do it, but i was going for easy, cheap, and fast (bolts to stock location, no extra cutting or welding)
