Well I was driving down the road, Truck backfired twice, well thats what it sounded like, Then shut off, and will not start now. It turns over and thats about it, It just wont start. Does anyone have any idea as to what may be wrong? Fuel Pump? Fuel Filter> Carburator?

Check spark, check fuel and check compression... then go from there...

CPS or distributor... that equals SPARK and fuel, what i was saying is start simple and work your way up.

no such thing as a "crank sensor" on a mazda B...
except mine maybe, but only because I added one.

Check spark: Pull a spark plug boot, insert a screwdriver, hold close to the metal of the engine and bump the starter. If you have spark move to "check fuel"

If no spark: Take the cap off the dizzy and crank the engine. If the rotor spins, check the rotor contacts and the inside of the cap. IF the rotor DOESNT spin, you have a broken timing belt.

Check fuel: Take off the air cleaner and find the fuel pump line to the carb. Take it off and put one end in a coffee can or someother form of catch can. Crank the engine for a while and see if fuel is coming out. If no fuel or very little, change the fuel filter. Still no fuel? On the frame rail by the tank there is a small rollover valve to check. Change the pump if still no fuel.

IF you still odnt have it running, tow it to a shop, or post what you find and update the symptoms.
