Engine Porting

hey guys, i got a few questions about my 2.9l ford. I was wondering where i can get my heads bored and where i can get my lower and upper intake ported. Would it be worth it to just use 4.0 heads or should i use the 2.9 heads. Also, what kind of prices would the porting cost?

if the 4.0head fits and bolts up fine, i would use that and just smooth out the imperfections and call it a day. for v8 heads, its anywhere from 500-800bux for a port/polish job, but that is leaning more towards race applications. i would just smooth out the heads you are going to use and not worry about it

Just port your 2.9 heads, Thats what I am doing to mine this winter as soon as I get a customers Eagle Talon done.
