Yea that woodie wagon is sick, and I posted this thread before I saw car nutz 3 window and damn that thing is sick.

I will get some pictures of the merc up here tomorrow. I forgot about this thread lol! We talked the owner into doing air ride on it, so that should be fun.

by no means modern day streetrod.. My uncle (67ish year old, old school hod rodder and machinist by trade) put together this 32' to remind him of the old days racing on the flat lakes. He tried super hard to make it so that everything on this car was available in or before the mid 50's. Took him like 7 years on and off to put it together. He is such a perfectionist (machinist) that it came out too nice, should be alot grosser looking for what it was, but im in love with this car.

Stats that i know:Flathead with Offy HeadsZ'd FrameColumbia vacuum operated 2-speed rearend (pretty cool to change your rear end gear ratios on the fly)seatbelts out of a real WW2 bomber (according to him, alot of guys came back from the war and somehow got their hands on these belts and used them for racing)
