Im putting an f2t motor from an mx6 in my truck and need traction,anyone know of a good rear end to use,im also converting to 5 by 4.5 lug pattern

I did the same motor conversion....I used a rear end out of a 86 mazda rx7 gsl-se. It is the same dimentions as the stock rear end, has disk brakes and an LSD. However, it wont bolt to your leaf springs (I 4linked mine), you'll have to get your drive shaft modified to work with it, and it's 4 bolt so I had to do a 5lug conversion on it. If you dont care much for the disk brakes I heard that the LSD third member will swap right into the B2200 rear end. Looks like it would work to me, it is the same rear end housing, it'll just depend on the splines on the axles.

Oh, just noticed who you were...Must be a Northwest thing to do this motor swap, there are like 5 in the works that I know of! I bought my built F2T motor off Adam Trinder, I think you know him. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with on the swap...

hey ryan ,yeah im good friends with adam.
did u use the disc brakes and redrill them?
also what did u do for intake and distributor,i cut my throttle body off and reversed it.thnx for the info

I did the same on my intake, cut and reveresed it. Take a look at my profile, there is a pic of my engine there. I have had the motor running in the truck but havent gotten to drive it yet
