Well i have a full size chevy, 97, bagged...and only the rear rides like shit...cause i have no shocks...that out of the way, is it possible to use the stock shock locations with lowering shocks and it still be functional. I was told to go to pep boys and get a shock that has the right travel on and use that....just seeing if any of yous guys have heard that and if its possible...thanks...

you can use a shock for a lowered ride that will help but if the shock is at to much of an angle from the axle to the upper frame mount the shock is not going to help the ride of the truck because the shock is working against the angle and you will not not get a good ride

think SD sells a kit so you can mount your shocks. Has a crossbar and tabs to weld to the bar and your axle. Yea your shocks really wont work properly if angled to far over. Even with drop shocks it may work but you wont get alot of lift...
