1980 Datsun King Cab

Hey Ya'll, just wondering what other years are the same shape as the 1980?

correct me if im wrong but datsun did not make a king cab in '80.it was a nissan 720;cause that was when the new body style began.

You may be right which ever wat, what years did the 1980 continue?

nope. they made a late 70's early 80's king cab, the bulletside. I know where there is a brown one lounging. I think the years of the 620 were 75-81.... 82 was the year of the 720..

I know Australia had a "double cab" model in 1980.

ACTUALY, IT WAS STILL CALLED A DATSUN 720 TILL '82. IN '83 THEY CHANGED IT TO NISSAN 720.

the 80 is similarly shaped as the 81, 82, 83, 84, 85 and 86. the 86.5 is the Hardbody. the 85 and 86 were basically the same shape. the other years' models had bed lips.

if you read the tailgate it says NISSAN , then in the lower right it says MADE BY DATSUN

I HAD AN '82, TAILGATE SAID DATSUN. THE EMBLEMS ON THE FENDERS SAID DATSUN AND IN SMALL PRINT IT SAID MADE BY NISSAN.

yup, I was wrong, the 79 was the last 620 bulletside, the 80 datsun 720 went to the 82 nissan 720 (made by datsun) and till 85.5 when the hardbody came out.

But they did make a datsun 720, and the 77 was the very first ext cab minitruck, the 620 bulletside.
