Hey Guys. I was asking about doing a B-drop on a 82 Suburban a few weeks ago. We discussed what it ment to Z your frame up front & how to do it. Someone mentioned a raised X-member that bolted in & did the same job as Zing the frame. Apparently it will lay 22's. Someone said to check with Barn Yard Customs. (I don't want to start a debate about that company) But does anyone else make them. I'm waiting on Mike from BYC to get back to me... (theirs is going to be somwhere around $350) - that seems worth it. a whole lot more may not be worth it...

I don't really have a problems Zing the frame, but a Bolt in item that has been tested & tried sounds more appealing to me...

anybody make one?

hey Kyle, look at this linkhttp://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=60649Sorry you'll have to cut and paste, but it will tell you all you need to know about the crossmember notch. I don't know if it'll lay on 22's but it's worth looking at. It's a lot less hassle than z-ing the frame.

cool man thanks. Whould you reccomend going w/ upper & lower cups in the front, or Jason @ S.D. sells a lower cup & upper plate to go over the frame pocket for the front of this year truck. Think it would lay 20's w/ the plate (pocket cover)?
