OK getting ready to do a paint job on a vehicle and gonna be flat/suede blue. Currently shooting with BASF (RM paint)and that was the plan.

Was wanting to know about other options as far as maybe with Dupont or something else.... after basing it then what flattening agent would i use with the clear in order to get the clear to flatten back out to a flat look...

What do you other guys use since its not like going out and just buying hot rod flat back and is a actual color instead that needs to be suede....any info or help is appreciated guys

I always use SIKKENS flat clear. It's just as durable as their regular clear and compatible with any standard basecoat even if you want a flat metallic finish. i have a 1955 ford station wagon that I sprayed with flat clear 8 years ago and it still looks great!
