I am looking for a sub box to go under the back of my new daily driver, but I don't want to loss my back seat. It is a 2000 chevy silverado 3 door (stock). I am looking for something that will give me good sound.

Any ideas? I would be thankfull!

believe it or not - i didn't - until i heard it. you can build a box to fit under the rear seat and we used (2) $50 rockford 10",s and it was really loud for (2) 10's. I built half of that same box for my brother using (1) RF 10" w/ 150 watts to it and it is more than enough to over power the highs on 40 watts per door off of the 4 channel amp.

fire the woofer down into the floor - 1 1/2" off of the floor. i will have to see if i have pics of it somewhere.

i am not saying Rf woofers are great or anything. it was just what we used and got great results. i am building the same thing now for my '06 chevy crew cab daily

when i worked in the industry i used to sell 2 10 jl w3 subs with a 500/1 for a lot of bass and for just good sound i would use 1 10w3 and a jl 250/1. Both sound good and will fit under the back seat with room for the amps in the middle
