Anyone have info on baggin a 69 camaro? Just not too familiar with the suspension so I told someone I'd check around on what could be used. Thanks!

Hey, Ricky! The front is easy. I have a Camaro clip on my F100, the same clip as on a '69. I think mines from a '68. You simply need a 1.5" tall lower cup, and a 2.5-3" tall upper cup. Or, cut out the spring pocket, plate it, and weld brackets on like your Toyota has.

On the rear, you should be able to use cups too. I think they're linked like Chevelles, with coils. But don't quote me on that, I don't have one. Just have a front clip.

Nope, leaf springs in rear. AiRide Tech came out with a bolt in 4 link/bag set up for the rear. You could fab something up though. Front is easy like Seth said. Just use cups just like an S10.

Thanks for the info guys. For the front, would the cups need to be welded in, or some kind of countersunk bolt assembly?

Gonna check out the rear stuff and see what I could do myself, keep the info comin!

BTW: Here's the car in question,

For the front, you could weld a bolt on the bottom of the cirlce plate, to go through the bottom of the arm, and bolt it in place. I've seen them done that way. Personally, I'd just weld it.

I guess itll depend on if he'd ever consider putting it back to normal you know.. either way isn't a problem though. With bolting it in, do you have to trim the pockets still?

You have to do a little bit of trimming on the side towards the frame. Or, you can trim the cup, and it will bolt in without moddifying the arm. ART did it this way, so I don't see why it couldn't be done.

Heres one my uncle who paints all my stuff did...He used a fatman Mustang 2 front clip because the crossmember on these cars hang down alot and out back ran a triangulated 4- link (done by Rods and Restos in Centre, AL)on 19x8/22x10 Intros...It had some minor floorwork and was minitubbed.Youre gonna have to do some serious floor, tunnel and frame work in the back to get much lower than that.

DSE just cam out with a bolt in 4 link that will get you just as low as this car in the back with minor cutting....IM me if you wanna know any details
