caddy lights? help me plz.

now i know im not "active" here but i do read these forums. i did do a search an what not an came up empty handed. now here is my question. how did you go about wiring yours in. mine im using the top as turn, middle as brake n the 12v is the dummy. but here is my problem at the moment my truck has no other lights installed ( front turns an bumpers ) when i put the caddy on turn it blinks somewhat fast an the bulb doesnt light up all that way. is this caused by the fact i have no other lights installed.. or is it my wiring?

sounds like its because there are no other turn signal lights

Hook your otherl ights up and it should be fine....all the power is going to the one set and causing it to act akward...
