The picture is photoshopped, but I doubt Nissan would bullshit about something like that. Pretty cool... when scratched, the paint actually makes the scratches disappear. My guess is it basically sets on like a thick goo with a thick, flexible clear on top?

thats totally wierd...would like to see if it would be available for aftermarket use...And if it takes a week to "heal" so to speak...i wonder if its activated by the sun...thats some cool shit none the less

wow, that's freaky right there... kind of interested to see how well it works. i have a feeling it's goin to flop and not work nearly as well as they'd hoped. but still bad ass none the less, maybe with some more research behind it, it could work pretty well

wonder how long it will last.

I am be completely off base with this, and I apologize if I am.

But when did Nissan start developing and making paint, I thought they bought their paint fron corporations like PPG and DuPont. So if I read that article right, they have their own clear coat which is what protects the underlying paint coats? HMM, sounds interesting. We will see how well it works.

thats pretty cool. sounds like its more for scratches from light abrasions like car wash brushes, towel scratches from drying off the car, brushing up against the car with your clothes, etc. It would probably eliminate having the "swirls" you see in dark paint.

I would be willing to test it for them...

I HATE swirls!
