leds in c pillar

ok need opinions i am definately shaving the brake lights on my crew cab long bed, but can't decide wher to put them i was thinking the back part of the c pillar near the window? what are some opinions?

i also thought about that, but taillights have to in the very rear of the vehicle.

i think it would look cool, but definitly not legal

but again is anythign we do to our trucks legal?

but we can pretend...
some things will just get you fix it tickets faster then others.OR worse they could pull you over and tow your truck.

ok all this talk of towing has me thinking this idea not a good thing

not really, but most of the modifications we perform arnt threating to others...

if your taillights are not in the bed of your truck, people coming up behind you will see the taillights in the cab and think that is where your vehicle ends, yet you have another 6' of vehicle behind where the taillights are. Its like pulling a trailer with no lights on it.

actually i dont think its illegal, the chevy lumina minivans have them their stock.

that'd be at the rear of the vehicle though

i have seen it done on a few trucks... but more of like a "3rd" brake light option.... they still had leds in t/g skin/rollpans.

i was gonna do it to my crewcab and hide them under the paint....but havent gotten around to messing with any of my body work

that is what i was gogi nto do, epoxy over them and paint sort of a reddish color up thereand not be noticeable when not hitting brakes, but shine when hitting the brakes. but i wasn't thinking of the site thing and most people look for the rear first, not the cab
