98 Taco Spindles

Ive got a 98 for a daily .. rele want to get rid of it but i need to know y the front wont lay .. spindles ? or control arms ? i have no clue ? help a mini trucker out .. i can tell u n e thing bout s-10 but nothing bout toyota ! Thanx

did you flip the upper and lower ball joints?

i bought the truck bagged and there was alot of shit messd up with the setup .. the upper cups were backwards so i had to fix that but dont know if they been fliped or not

there are no drop spindles for the truck, see if the balljoints are mounted on top of the arms, that would be flipping them. the stock arms will lay on a 215/35/18 after flipping the balljoints, dont think the uppers will lay anything else before binding.

20's will lay with flipped balljoints

I have a 98 taco that lays all the way around and I have not flipped my ball joints......so I am not to sure what all the hype about flippin them is........and I have yet to be able to find lowered spnidles for it either

anything bigger then a 17 or small 18 the upper atleast needs to be flipped to lay out completely full frame

you will also need to z the frame a little bit or drag or cut the shit outta the stock front crossmember...i chose to zmine so i wouldnt be draggin steering rack
