S10 Tire Size Question

Ive got a box style s-10 and im going to lay rocker on 20's with it, I was just wondering on what size tires I use for it to not stick through the hood. I seen an s-10 at freak show with his tires coming through the hood and it looked like shit, also for the people that have 20"s on the front how tall is your wheel and tire. Thanks

ive seen a lot of people talk about using 255/35/20 tires and 245/35/20s tires i rock the 16's so i couldnt tell ya for sure dude.

245/35/20 is the best bet for an s10 its aprox od is 27" thats what i had on my 91 blazer so theyll fit just fine

i gotta nbs, and i run 225-35-20 on the front, they are real short like 26.2 or 26.3 inches, something like that, the 255-35-20 is 27 inches tall

I'm rockin 245/35's on mine and I had to notch the bottom braces on the hood....but they don't stick through it! Kinda give you an idea on how tall the tires are in the fender well....ChrisTX Chapter

awesome I appreciate it guys, also.... what would be the equivalent of a 245/35/20 to a 15 inch well, im trying to mock it up with some beaters first. nice engine compartment by the way chris, very clean

the 245/35/20 diameter is 26.75 inches go here : http://www.bagginit.com/picks.html and enter various 15 inch tire sizes to get as close to the 26.75 as you can.

I HAVE 225-30-20 ON MINE THEY ARE THE SMALLEST 20" TIRE ON THE MARKET THEY ARE APPROX 25.3" TALLMY TRUCK IS ONLY 3/4 O AN INCH FROM LAYN FRAME BECAUSE THEY HIT MY FIREWALL FOR NOW BUT I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO MAKE THEM CLEAR
