headlight fitment on 88-98 chevy

i just bought some euro headlights for my truck. they don't fit worth a crap. they hit the corner lights, they are crooked, and they stick out farther than the original headlights. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it?

hmm try takin the headlight its self off the base that came w/ the after market one and put it on the factory. the 2 screws stickin up release it from the base on both. i had this same prob w/ an OEM style after market headlight and put it on an oem base and it fit pretty good.

when i bought my APC Euro Clear Headlights they fit like shit and stuck out past the grille like 1/2". But i modified the crap out of the bracket and got them to fit right. It was alot screwing with them to get them right.

I did the same as above and they look great now...its worth the time and money.

i have already switched the bases and they still stick out but not as bad. what did you have to do to the bracket to get them to fit right?
