I wan't to do it so bad as soon as I can find a 98+ Ranger to do it with I know I can lay Rockers on 22's after I rebagged my brothers we cleared the fenders by like 3" w/ 245/35-20 wich is more than enough for 265/35-22, yes Hood Tubs and bed Tubs would probly be required the bed sides on the ranger were bowed under pretty good already. I just need a doner wrecked truck or bad motor/tranny deal to come around
I don't know why these threads keep popping up on this topic. I've stated before that it is definitely doable to lay body on 22's with a Ranger. Mine lays door on 20's, but the tires are up to the hood skin in front. I should have done 22's, but I just wanted to be a little lower, plus a little higher cost for the wheels/tires steered me away...22" tires and 4-wheel neg camber==$$$. LOL
I like the doors better But I don't know that I would want to do it w/ the I beams It looks like it worked good for Trace I just have a thing against I Beams after my 92
we DID it...an 89 with I beams, lays body....It sits unfinished because my brother lost interest....look at my profile...Chabres the name....All that work....tucks more than half the wheels all around though..haha
lays frame.... i wouldnt really call it that. i saw this truck at blooddrag a few weeks ago and it lays out on the back link bars. didnt really get to see the front underneath so maybe the cross member lays but i dont know if i would consider it "laying frame on 24's"
