Is it possible to powdercoat an entire billet wheel (face and hoop) and mount a tire without damaging the powdercoat??

i was thinking about powdercoat the inside of my billet wheels. any know how much that might run?

My buddy has had 3 different sets of wires done with no problem yet. I don't know much different billet would be from steel though. I guess it would depend on how well the coating bonds & if whoever mounts them gives a shit to be careful.

NO problem hell i powder coated the steel wheels on my dually and used crow bars to mount the tires. Alot of the import wheels are powder coated silver or black. I have done a bonch of wheels and never had a set scratched when they where mounted. i charge $50 a wheel on basic colors for wheels up to 20" that includes blasting them also
