The H2 is his wife Wendy's, and the Escalade clipped yellow Silverado belongs to her dad Jim, owner of Ranch Muffler in Temecula, CA. I talked to Craig and Jim two weeks before the Silverado's debut at SEMA a couple of years ago, they were still working on the steering and suspension, the truck was still white, nothing was shaved, no interior, no chrome or paint on anything, couldnt believe it got finished in time. I've driven the Excursion, one word, SCARY. Way too tall, and the steering was soooooo sensitive. There was not enough caster built in, so it wouldnt straighten itself out after making a turn and it liked to wander real bad. I had the old Astro here at the shop at the beginning of the year to have some valves installed. That thing is a POS. The 4-link had broken multiple times and been "repaired". There was about an inch of bondo in the roll pan that was falling off, the paint was sooo thick form never being stripped before the next paint job (the original green was still under everything!) It looked cool from 20 feet away though, and the 350 in it ran good and sounded healthy. Oh yeah, and it was built by the now gone Crazy Customs of Escondido. It was green with the graphics when featured in Minitruckin originally, then Craig got it and changed the green to yellow. Then came the orange, the interior, the 350, and 20's.
