i am wanting to know if there is any place online or wherever to buy outside mirror smooth plates to shave mirrors on 1998 ford mustang?

those should be easie enough to make yourself I would think dude. just use some sheers and cut them out of some sheet metal and you should be set.

If you go to home depo you can get some 22ga sheet metal for like 8 bucks and that would probably work for ya.

dont use 22 ga. on that. i would never suggest using 22 ga. on shaving anything. you want to use at the least 20 ga. u want it to be at least equal to whatever your car is made out of. i doubt you will find anybody online that sells plates for those, you are gonna have to make them yourself.

No one makes any sheetmetal fillers for shaving anything on a mustang. It would be easier if you cut the mirror arm off the part that bolts the mirror to the door then fiberglass it smooth and bolt it back on. If you just weld a plate in there it wont look right its not like a truck mirror.
