on my 87 mazda im running a 2wd bed with 6 lug 18s off a infinity. my question is does everyone have to flare their bedsides out hella to tuck their wheels???

No, not everyone has to flare out the bedsides to make the wheels tuck. Mine is a two wheel drive bed tucking 18's and nothing was touched or shimmed. Mazda didn't give a lot of clearance, but you can get wheels that tuck. Mine do come close to rubbing, within a quarter of an inch. Check out my profile to see, But they are custom made rims though.

oh yea if you are talkin about wheels that are not factory take offs, my mazda had like a 1 1/2" gap from the fender/bedside lips to the rim......

I bought a set of the 18x8 infinity QX56 wheels with 215/35/18 tires and they fit the front but the back needs to be flared a lot and I tried my 4x4 bed and it needs to be flared to, towards the top so I'm going to sell them and do a five lug conversion.
