i just got another mazda this time an 87. my question is what carb kit are people running and where did the get them from. and also if you all can remember what they ran you in price.

i know from experience those kits are not cheap because you literally cant find a new carb for those trucks but i think the kit runs $400-$600 thats installed believe me you dont want to do it yourself

I want someone to try out the 34/34 solex that is out now.

and putting one on isnt very hard, but if you dont know the basics of engines, you are better off having it done.

lol if you dont know the basics of righty tighty lefty loosy you cant do it. i paid 405 for my 32/36 dgev weber kit awhile back and was drivin the truck in 35 min, but didnt have any emissions stuff to take out.

Where can you get em from? And webber quit making carbs, right? They were on strike for like a year at least but i never heard what ended up happening...

I heard the other day that the strike ended and they were in production again.

I dont have a problem with it. I just get in and go work the gas and clutch for two or three min. and its good to go. I would like to have one with an electric choke so I could warm my truck up in the mornings but that one is the only one u could buy during the time of the strike
