i hate mcpherson struts

what the hell am i gonna do to lay this thing out my car was slammed when i was riding coilovers with no ajusters now that i have strutbags when its layed out it barley tuckin my 18s i like the way it gets up but it just wont lay any ideas? its a 02 civic

aim makes a 2 inch drop for the top strut mount in the front for like 150

should have put cylinders on...

Cylinders ride like ass. Just get a little creative. How close is the lower bag mount to the tire? What kind of bearing are you running at the top?

You have to raise the strut tower or you can try the A.I.M 2"strut mount...

well i got stock struts with the bag over , i guess 2" pillow blocks would work but i need it to lay frame i guess ill have to get the sawzall and do some customizing , anyone go differnt with mcpherson besides store bought???

If your gunna go nuts,juice it and build all your own goodness...

juice is the only to way to go on a mcphearson car! i wish i would have listened and done it way back in the day!

well i been thinkin and ive seen it done before what u think about the mcpherson hydraulic cylinders in front hosed to basic cylinders with custom bag mounts in the trunk to raise it yup guess full custom is the way to go

what is stopping it? Are the bags not collapsing enough or is it the shock bottom out first?
