Air tank rust question??

My air tank has been sitting for about 2 years and has a little surface rust on the inside. Is there any way to clean this out or to coat it so rust won't go in my air lines?

I would just get a new one,Any pice of rust get into your valves there going to stick.You could use some acidtone but it up to you?

go to a motorcycle shop and buy there tank kit.its a 3 part kit that treats the inside of the tank to prevent rust.

unless you have some sick ass custom tank i'd just go pick up another one. it's definately cheaper than risking ruining your valves.

Go stainless with the tank!!
