I thought the brake problems were corrected for 2005.My brakes feel like they grab then let go.I can even feel it in the steering wheel. The truck has a great ride just terrible brakes. Is there a fix. Will the dealership do anything about this problem?

HEY MAN I WORK AT A NISSAN DEALERSHIP IN PARTS. THERE IS A RECALL ON THE FRONT BRAKES AND REAR PADS. THEY PUT NEW ROTORS AND PADS ON THE FRONT AND JUST NEW PADS ON THE REAR. CALL UR LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND THEY WILL GET U FIXED UP. THEY DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM UNTILL 06. LET ME KNOW IF U HAVE ANY MORE PROBLEMS.

I am a service manager at a nissan dealer, and there is no recall on titan brakes, but they did extend the warranty on them for a vibration problem.Your dealership should take care of it by first turning the front rotors, and if it comes back putting on the new frt rotors, and pads. You should get a sticker in the mail for your owners manual about the extension of the brake warranty unless of course you bought it used.Either way they should take care of it for you if they dont call 1-800-nissan1 and bitch

I had my rotors turned on my 05. When a "fix" came out they called me up and got some things changed out. Has worked great so far

Hey Chad and John, I am very interested in buying a Titan. Not really for customizing, but mainly for a good half ton truck to pull my boat. What do you guys think of them, any other reaccuring problems other than brakes and rearends? The most important question, would you buy one?

If it wasnt for the love of my excursion I would be driving a armada, and we have only had one rearend go bad.It was also abused like a mofo, but I have pulled some stuff with them, and did dealer training on them they are nice trucks from what I have done with them.Hit up mike mock from gravity werx he owns one,and can tell you more about it.

holy crap mike mock has beat the hell out of his titan, when we would goto shows he would pull a 20 something foot enclosed trailer, probably 6k pounds easy and never slow down. we went from GA to OH pulling a truck on an open trailer both going and coming, and we were doin 80 through the mountains. if i could afford a car payment i'd get a titan for towing.
