Ok long story short. I'm leaving for Wyotech on the 27th and my truck isn't running that great. I keep getting codes 34 and 44 and now I'm getting a 41 also. 44 says fuel metering system lean low voltage signal. 41 sayscrankshaft position sensor either is getting no signal or is idling lower than actual speed. 34 says th EGR temperature sensor is either malfunctoning or open. Nonetheless, I've had numerous people helping me with this and no such luck. The truck has hardly any power and lags or nearly stalls most of the time. If you feather the pedal its better but with no power really. When I do get on it the truck hesistates, sputters, and feels like it cuts out altogether at times. Any help would be great. I have already checked the plugs, wires, rotor and cap, vacuum lines, catalytic convertor, EGR valve, MAP and MAF sensors, and most associated wiring. The fuel pump is on but haven't tested PSI yet. The truck does run so its getting fuel but could the regulator be bad? Or could it be an injector problem? I'm very much at a loss so please feel free to elaborate on any ideas you may have. Thanks in advance.

PS It's a 95 Isuzu 2.3l fuel injected engine with like 90,000 miles.

bump good luck man. could you check the pcm for anything? i my long past of breaking down and not knowing how to fix it it seems that multiple problems are due to the pcm. might try to unhook battery and let it re set itself and then if it goes right back then that might narrow it down some. good luck

I'd start with replacing the EGR valve, if it's stuck open, it will cause the problems you are talkin about. But mainly when it's cold, does it clear up alittle when the truck is warmed up?

The EGR valve works properly and it actually worsens when warmed up. The truck usually starts but once its warm then it stalls and sometimes won't restart. More help needed please.

haev you checked the actual distributor or ignition module. if it gets worse at warm up it is probably something in the engine bay.

that happenen to me when i got ready to go to wyotech last january too man. For me a was a engine coolant temperatur sensor. We fucked around with that thing for weeks to get it right then we finnaly changed that and it was good to go. It usta start really hard and then if i drove it then shut it off it wouldnt start back up for like a hr. Good luck with school man i just had my last final there today and am home for good now. Which school are you goin to?

A buddy of mine had a problem and the iac idle air control sensor went out and made all the other sensors fuck up might want to check that

make sure your coolant level is full and you have no air pockets in your cooling system.

i just got done putting my motor in and starting it and it ran hella funny then i was told by a mechanic to check the coolant level. sure enough i put some more coolant in and started it up and it ran fine.

Mine is funy also it has a slight miss when cold and when it warms up it is fine....i dont have access to anything to check codes on it....i am going to replace cap and rotor and plugs and wires as i dont know the last time they were swapped but i am thinking it is something electrical myself like one of the units somewhere in the bay...but starts and runs even in the cold.
