Just a quick question today guys, it's been so long since I've posted. My truck got really screwed when we evacuated for hurricane Rita... 25 hours in traffic. It started overheating, and the head gasket finally blew a week later, I had to buy a whole new head $500 bucks! I got a felpro gasket kit, and the head gasket has a sticky blue layer on both sides. I thought it was a peel-off coating to protect the gasket (like the stuff on lexan) but I couldn't find an edge to pull it off. Is this a sealant or something that is supossed to be on there? Just wanted to see if anyone knows what I'm talking about. I'll call felpro if I don't get an answer.

I knew I'd get a quick reply on this site. Thanks for the help guys. I'm gonna get this thing going so I can take it to the Breakin Out show in Lumberton... it won't be bagged, but hopfully I'll have most of the body work done and have it all black by then.

L8tr, Matt
