anybody know the ammount of difficulty that goes into bagging an 80s monte carlo, grand prix, cutlass, or regal? I know they have coil spring rearends. Do you just replace the coil with bags and upper and lower mounts for the rear and get bags and cups for the front. Do you keep the stock link in the back? Is it that simple? Also, say i wanted to run 18s, how low could i get before having to cut anything? I am looking at getting one of these styles of cars and i'd like to just have it bagged for a daily driver. I'm not worried about layin or anything, more or less for the ride but it would be interesting to see how low i could get before having to cut the car up

Thanks

I think you mean G-body any ways I have a 79 monte that I used S-10 bag cups up front and the back I built a upper cup with tabs off the sides to bolt them securely and on the axle I welded a piece of C channel with a stud like you would to mount a power ball for hydros if you have any more questions I'll try my best to help.

they are easy if you run small wheels, up frt its the exact same suspension as an s10, out back is very easy if your not concerned about layn frame, you need an axle bag bracket and if i remember corectly a 3" cup for the uppers and your done, i would rec sleve bags for the rear if you want the best ride...put 2600 stones in the back of my bros and they ride ok but sleves would be nicer

also run 2600's in the frt with shocks, they are heavier then the s-10's so with 2500's they dont ride as well as the 2600's

hope i helped, i have a few pics in my profile but that car is on 20's and thats a diff story lol
