I rear ended a guy yesterday in my 2005 Ranger, but didn't hit him very fast. Nothing happened to his truck, but my bumper got bent down on one side. What all do I have to replace on this? Is there a bumper part that is like reinforcement/support, and then a cover for that? I was going to go down to Pick'n'Pull to try to find one off a truck that got rearended... How much do you think it would cost there? and how much to your think it would cost new?
Also, while I'm there if I can pick up a 4x4 grill (chrome) for cheap, would that just bolt up to the 2wd (black plastic)? I dont see why it wouldnt but I thought I would ask before I bought it
Thanks
im pretty sure the grill will fit. as for the bumper, u could loosin the bolts from the bracket to the bumper and try makin it sit level again.
Well it hit below the light and from there over it is bent but the other side is ok.
So I am going to need a new one unless I can bend it back, but it will still have a dent in it.
Is the 4x4 bumper chrome? I might try to get one of those if I find the grille too..
the 4x4 bumper is chrome but has a different valance.
Well no luck at Pick'n'Pull... I guess I will try to straighten it and if that doesnt work just leave it... Oh well
