just put a new stock tank and it seems like the motor isnt getting gas...mechnical pump and carb...the carb isnt "spitting" any and all the lines seem dry there are 5 gallons of gas in the tank and brand new spark system...it tries to fire but wont...do i need to start the vaccuum on the fuel lines or is something else right in front of me and im not seeing it

you may have an air lock in the fuel lines. take the line off at the carb put it in a bucket go and crank it and see if anything comes out. if it does try again if not. then check the pump. if it does and still no gas in the carb then check your carb. the float may be stuck.

the system probably needs to be primed, make sure the filter is clean. The easiest way I know to prime the system is to cup a rag over the fuel neck and use an air nozzle to very lightly pressurise the tank. All it needs is a little if you seal it really good and blast it with air you'll have 5 gallons of fuel all over the place.
