i got 4x4 fenders and bedsides and would like to know what everyone does with the bottoms of the flares. I would like to body drop it to the rocker (passed the pinch) but it looks like that 1/2 inch would present a whole slough of problems. I think i looks funny though when the truck just lays fender and theres a gap between the cab and the ground. Any help would be great, i kinda figured out what i want to do but would love some input

Below is what is needed to do a 2

If you body drop it to the rocker panels you will not need to cut the bottom of the front fenders or the bedsides. If you look at how the flares end at the bottom of the fenders you will see that they do not go past the rocker panels so there is really no need to cut the. If you body drop your truck to the doors then obviously you will need to cut the fenders but just going to rockers you will not have to.

I appreciate the comments.

Beleive me when I say that you will not have to cut the bottom of your fenders. It would suck if you had to do that but I have seen some who go so far as to the door with 4x4 sheet metal. I cringe when I see that but it is to the owners liking so who am I to say how they build there trucks. Do yourself a favor and do the cutting where it is needed not where is is not needed, namely the 4x4 sheet metal.

Again thanks for the comments and it is flattering to know that my Mazda is an inspiration to yourself and others.
