Hey guys. Hoping some of you could give me your opinions of the ride quality when you run an bags over axle setup on an S10(with shocks). I'm considering my options for when I bag mine in the not too distant future. Right now my top choice is the SD wishbone 3 link. Any opionions on bag placement and anything else relative would be appreciated.

my setup rides great, i prefer bag over axle, the bag stays straighter, it just looks like alot less stress on the bag. People told me bag on bar rode better, i didnt think so! prefrence i guess.

I have an over axle on my mitsu and it rode good when I had the shocks on. Never rode with bags on the bars so I couldnt tell you what is better.

i rode with bad on the lower 2link bar and it was comfortable.. i drove it everyday.. but i haven't been in bag over axle yet.. but i loved my bag set up

This is where alot of folks make the wrong choices on bags. Over the axle is great, but you should try to stay away from the double convoluted bags like the 2600 lbs and so on. with this set up go with a firestone 9000, they are a sleeve bag but not one of those little bags, they are a fatass sleeve bag. Will get plenty of lift and the smoothest ride posible. Bags on bars a double convoluted will be fine. I have Slam RS-72 in the front and Stone 9000 in the rear and they are great.

i have a lever setup and it rides great, my friend has bag over axle and it's pretty stiff at anything above 25psi, both firestone bags

Fact: With the exact same bag used in either situation -Over the axle WILL RIDE ROUGHER then a lever setup. Period. But like John said, if your gonna go over the axle, go with the Firestone 9000 Sleeve...Def a better ride then a double convoluted bags.Personally i would do a lever setup......But like everything in this sport, its your truck, do whatever you want

I've ridden in both, and driven one with a "cantilever" setup. It was two linked. The Bag over axle rode alright when dumped, but shitty anywhere else. The 2-link truck rode good at pretty much any height.
