DD audio?

whats everyones opinion on DD Audio? im trying to decide between them and JL W7s for my burban and mighty max

If you are wanting something that can pound the fuck out of you then I would recommend DD over JL. What are you looking for in a sub?

im lookin for loud man and sounds somewhat decent i know if i get DDs its not gonna be the 9900 series at least not im lookin at the 3500 series for now (moneys tight til im out of school)and also im not gonna compete at any sound offs just piss off old people late at night when they hear my burban scrappin assphalt and my subs shatterin there windows!

Are u being serious? Anyways DD is basically an SPL sub so yeah they will get loud but for typical street thumping I'd recommend something with a little more SQ than SPL.

man i have had everything jl memphis alpine mtx premier. pretty much any name brand sub... then i came across DD anybody who says DD aren't good for everyday bang just does'nt know. nobody likes to pull up to a light and get punked by another system after spending five grand on thiers.. If you run dd proaperly powerd thers a good chance you will never be the one getting punked at a red light...

maybe I'm getting old or something but I hate hearing battle of the stereos while I'm driving down the road or at night time when I'm trying to sleep. U could always just rev your car up really loud cause that would be teh coolest.

The W7's are OK. But it depends on how much power you plan to use. If you are gonna use less than 1000 watts, then either W7 or DD3500 series would work well for you (by the way, anyone who say DD's are not good for daily use has never heard them run idealy, in the right box and the right power they rival ANY SQ sub, especially the 9100's). If you plan on using more than 1000 watts like 1000-2000watts, then definately the DD3500's overy the JL's. I wouldn't personally buy a 9500 series unless I used more than 2000watts (unless you plan on adding power later).
