fuel cell or another gas tank

i got a 94 reg cab stepside and want to move the gas tank for the 4 link if i go with a fuel cell what do i do about the fuel pump and sending unit?Now if i go with some other factory style gastank i have the same question. i dont want my fuel gauge not to work and wanna make sure the engine gets enough gas. its tbi by the way.

Cut the sender boss out of the tank and weld it to a steel tank or bolt it to an aluminum one. Before you cut it out, measure how deep it is from the top of the boss to the bottom of the tank so you can fabricate a piece to raise or lower the mounting point. I did this on my 98 and ended up cruising the junk yard to find the flattest stock tank. Ended up being a 2000 cargo van (not sure if this boss will work for yours) but go to a salvage yard to find one if yours isn't flat enough.

Im building myself one right now out of 12 ga stainless for my silverado 00'...with stock tank...which i highly suggest using your stock pump rather than go aftermarket with an inline..stock is much better in this case..ill have pics up next week after the holiday
