YES,flip the upper and lower ball joint,you can also make/use 1/4" spacers to add to the flip...you should have no problem laying and 18" wheel...If you don't want to Z the frame you can lay pinch with traditional 2-7/8 to 3" body drop...You can also lower the cab mounts to get some extra inch's...you have to do your trany crossmeber as well,not sure if you did that yet...

so what do i have to do to the tranny cross member? should I do anything if im not Z ingwould this not make is lay flat leaving the cross memeber?

I opt for getting a drop trany crossmember from Cando customs...Its way easy to put in and straight forward...With out it you'll need a 3-1/2" to 4" body drop...You'll be fine with a 3" body drop and drop trany crossmeber,if you do the front suspension right and get a pr of drop spindles...

please tell me you gusseted that upper mount ......

dude I have the same truck don't move your bag bracket......get some 2" drop spindles they are around 200.00 the truck will lay out....trust me

YOU CAN LAY A YOTA OUT ON 18'S WITHOUT FLIPPING THE BALLJOINTS.

im laying tranny x member on 18s no problem. i just cut out the fenders and and have 2 inch spindles on 2500 firestones

wow this is gettin way to complicated..my yota is layed out flat on stock wheels and tires with stock arms and all that....and i think you should consider some downward gussets on there becuase putting your mount sup that high basically leaves nothing for the shock tower/control arm mount to hold to the frame.....it will snap off and bend upward...
