Just put my cab back on yesterday to test fit everything after Body dropping it to the doors...

- My front track is too wide because of shit AIM drop spindles, who's the best people to go through for custom tube arms? kustom werks, barnyard, etc???

- Steering shaft is not going to go back in easily as it is fauling on the upper control arm...what have you other guys done to fix this? Add another uni joint near the firewall or inside the cab???

- my brake booster is fauling on my motor as i now have a V8 in it...what's the best/easiest thing to do in pup's, remote booster or is there a smaller bolt on item???

Anything else the that the guys that have taken pup's to the doors think i should look out for???

All help appreciated.____________________________________________

hey with the booster. go check out WYRD (aus truck) he moved his booster in to the tray.. there is pics of it on his profile on here not sure what it is though

or u can get a willwood brake pedal it has got all that shit behind the pedal so u wont need your booster . just it little bit on the front of it but it cost like $800 aus dollers
or get a HQ booster smaller so less power

and your steering shaft u can go get one out of a jackeroo they have to uni's in them or u can buy nice chrome shafts with to uni's already just grab a hot rod mag n check the advertising i have seen them

and if u want lower and upper tube arms in aus send a e-mail to mc donalds bros racing they make them just go to there web site

My tube arms eliminate the strut rods. pics on my site but they are not the latest version. new ones look nicer.

brake booster, Geo Metro is the smallest car booster out there, if you get one at a wrecking yard, get the master cylinder with it and fab some mounts to put it out of the way.

I put mine in the back near the rear axle, with the brake pedal coming up thru the floor, VW bug style. then theres a rod that goes back and presses the booster. works great wiyth my V-8

or you can get one of those small hydroboost ones.

steering shaft, get some knuckles off trucks with racks or cars with racks at the wrecking yard, piece together a setup to clear the arms. speedwaymotors.com sells a steering shaft heim joint that holds tha shaft.
they also sell shaft parts.

as for your brake booster and steering column -- you should fab up a sheet firewall (if you doored it and it's got a V8 then you might as well cuz your gonna be showin off your firewall alot.) anyways this will help with your booster and column b/c you can put them where you want... also as for other problems... your going to want to either section your stock rad. support or build one(thats what im planning on doing) because you can't just drop your front core-- (theres not enough room) any q's just message me an ill see if i can help

hey -- i thought you were talkin about a pup style not an hombre-- i just looked at your profile and saw that it's a 2000... you will probably get a lot more q's answered in the chevy forum.--

Thanks everyone for the help so far...

(superstylin) - I wil try get in contact with Wyrd and see what he has done with the booster.

Jackeroo shaft won't work, I will have to make something custom, I was just trying to see if anyone had pics.

I will keep the wilwood pedal in mind.

(DawgsledMazda) - I have spoke to you about your arms, before they look nice and I know they eliminate the strut rod, which is cool.

The closest thing to a geo metro here is a Suzuki Swift, so I will go to a wreckers and check the booster out.

As for the steering shaft, that's what I will be doing.

(MDcrew20 - My firewall has already been tubbed for 20's and the V8 gearbox fit's under the tunnel easy. So I am not sure if I willmake a new one yet or not...I am just sectioning the stock radiator supoort the 2 and a bit inches...

It is an 88-96 ISUZU P'UP style chassis and body but it has an updated frotn end and tub (tray, styleside, wellback, whatever you guys call them.) it is an exclusive to aus model.

(thatsmydawg) - Thanks mate, I am in australia but... I will keep that in mind and might throw you a offer...

If anyone has any more stuff that will help please add.

Thank's Again...
