OK, when i first started in the custom truck scene, i swore to myself i would never go with anything but the best...well i started off on the wrong foot by ordering my first bag kit from AIM Industries. Well at least it was all DOT fittings and what not... Well for christmas i recieved a new tank, and like almost everyone else I wanted to play with my toy immdediately. Well instead of ordering new fittings for the tank (which the tank is a step up in size on the fitting side) I took some advice from a friend and went to Home depot and got fittings from there. So far they work fine, but now i feel i should be using garden hoses for my lines and ball valves with tha huge ass handles on them to fill and empty my bags...Has anyone else gone so ghetto?

Haha, not me personally, but my truck with its previous owner....where do i start...The grille, stock grille, cut apart with some polished metal screwed in for that billet look...headlight covers made out of tinted lexan. Interior, some "tweed" look-a-like fabrice glued everywhere, with yellow glue working its way through the whiteish fabrice, so it had big yellow spots. Not sure what its called, but that chip board plywood knock off stuff, center console made outta that for between the 2 unmounted mr2 seats..Speaker box in the back, extended cab, made out of mdf surprisingly, wrapped in black vinyl because it matched the rest of the interior so nice ..and the yellow racing pedals too, and home-made white face guages..the yellow pedals matche the plan of kawasaki green exterior i guess..So, as soon as i got the truck the interior got ripped out, girlle was taken out im now starting to make a new one hopefully make a whole new setup with some new style ranger headlights and a fibreglass grille.

i have done the Home depot / lowes fittings, but if you need something and they have something to use, why not use it? i dont really consider that ghetto, cause it works, done this several times and never had a problem. lol
