there are a few things u can do....run them to the back and make new mounts and or new bars...or you can make or buy A-arm style control arms that will eliminate them..OR the easiest is to cut off the part of the bracket that bolts to the rad. support and reinforce whats left....
i dont know if that would work but i guess anything is possible. if your gonna buy some lower arms then your gonna have to rebag the front of your yota. just keep that in mind.
if your looking for the cheap way out just leave the strut rods in there and do what trev said and cut off the part that bolts to the radiator support and put a gusset on the rest of it.
depending on the size of the BD, i have seen people over here just remount the bracket on the top side of that front x member, and drill the holes out and get long bolts, so you can use the same nuts that are welded in the chassis
as long as the mounts dont keep you from layin you can bend the part that mounts to the control arm so that it will bolt flat after lowering the framehorns.
HOW ARE YOU GOIN TO MOUNT THOSE S10 ARMS? THE TUBE ARMS HAVE A SOLID SHAFT THE USE'S THE FACTORY LOWER BUSHING HOLE.
ANOTHER THING TO THINK ABOUT IS THE BALLJOINT ANGLE ON THOSE S10 ARMS. ALSO THE LENGTH OF THEM TO. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD JUST BUY THE TUBE ARMS TO MAKE LIFE EASIER.
well I was going to make to make two C kinda brackets. Well then do u have to do anythign to put on tube lower control arms? does anybody have any pics/
