I have a 98 dodge dakota that was just recently bagged. It was sitting up for several months. The truck will crank and run..but while your driving it...it will start sputtering..like its not getting gas. You can put it in nuetral and rev it up and it will be fine. Also, if you turn the truck off when its doing it, and crank it back up..it will straighten out. The check engine light is on and I got it tested and it came up with 2 problem codes...1. Evap emission control valve C....2. O2 sensor...I have no idea what a evap control valve C is....can anyone help?

check and clean tps and the egr.

If it ran fine before it was bagged I would check your wiring and grounds, something might have been removed or unplugged like a sensor.

did you take of the evap shat.. charcoal canaster ect?.. and does it have a ECM controled evap system? usually that suff really dont make to much of a driveablility issue, but it will make the light come on.. if it is still on there might check to make sure you didnt remove a vacum line on mistake.. and if you unplugged or got rid of the O2's the light will be on all the time.. and might run a lil duff.. if you wana leave them out you can get cheater from Summit for the 02 sensor plug that will turn the service engine light of and tell the computer you have a good fule to air ratio so it will run decent... and then yeah make sure you didnt remove any body to chassis grounds or wiring..

i bagged it, all the grounds are hooked up, the only thing i saw that was fucked was there was a line from the gas tank to the charcoal canister that had came off before i got the truck and had drug for awhile. but that shouldnt cause a poor idle.

.. yeah sounds like you might have a bad helical axis on the Rotator Splint..or you might have a funky algorithm programed into the magnetic field of the 3 phase flux capacitor... i hate when that shit happens..

Just do a tune up; change all the fluids, and get the O2 sensor and it will make a huge difference. This is what I did on the dakota I just got and made a world of difference.
