Been searching for pics but cant seem to find any, but im wanting to make up a rollpan sort of thing for my 90 model fourrunner, any one done this and got pics. bit stumped on how it would be made to wrap around, and where it would be welded to without restricting the use of the tailgate.

cheers

on my old 4 runner i used the bottom halfs of the truck bedsides & welded them in right at the bodyline, then used a regular pickup roll pan. i wondered that too for a long time & it'd take longer & cost more to hand make side panels then to drill off bedsides at pull-a -part. not a real easy job, but i hope it helps...

Like Corey said, find truck bedsides and use a truck roll pan. If possible, just bring a cordless sawzall to the pick-n-pull or whatever you have, and cut the are you need. I did that once, and the sides cost me $14 for the pair.

my scanner sucks so i don't have any pics of my old one on the computer, but looking through the profiles, here's someone who did the same thing almost. with the pickup roll pan though, you'll still be able to use the gate.
