what offset or backspacing do i need for a 22X8.5 or 22X9.5 wheel on a 2000 s10 laying frame and going to be body dropped to the rockers?

i could be wrong but i think a 10" wide wheel requires a 6" backspacing to tuck on an s10...if thats the case then wouldnt that mean that a 9.5" wide wheel would require a 5.5" backspacing? And a 8.5" wide wheel would require a 4.5" backspacing? It may not work that way so i would double check first

i dont know about backspacing... i have a 18mm offset on my wheels and id imagine from lookin at them that it would work for you...

I don't really know that much about wheels except for that backspacing is measured on the rear of the wheel and offset measured on the front but how do you measure backspacing and/or offset?
