alright, my yota has been down for about 3 to 4 months now. before me and my girl broke up, she let one of her friends drive it around, and i fucked the whole wiring harness under the hood up. so i got a new one, but its not the same. my question is, what wires are needed for this truck to run again. i think im just goin to buy one of those one wire alternators for it, and it doesnt have any emissions, i took em out. i have a weber for it, just havent put it on yet. im tired of seeing this truck sitting outside infront of my shop not driveable

i hate to say it, but it looks like you need a haynes or chilton manual for it. i tried looking up schematics online and there's a mess out there. buy a book, then just follow the tree, & eliminate what you don't need from there.

yea, thast what i was worried about, LOL, which one is better for schematics, was it chiltons or haynes?

just rip the plastic off in auto zone & compare. i hate chiltons, but mine had CA emissions & the haynes didn't even cover my egr temp switch or any of my evap & egr vacuum lines. or you can do what i did & say f**k it & buy both.
