But since you did it ALL yourself, I'd like to know what primers, paints, clears and hardeners (yeah, i mean all the numbers on the cans, not just dupont or sikkens or whatever) you used for repainting the doors and what ratios they are all mixed in.

At least it explains why it looks like the cab doesn't match the bed in that pic from behind though.

Sorry for the hating, but saying a 16 year old could ever afford and/or do this on his own is complete bullshit.



I'm 16 and I own an 02 dodge quad cab about to be bagged on 22s and I paid for everything myself. Now we are bagging the truck ourselves in the shop that we have and when I do a system I am getting the stuff at dealer cost but besides that I am paying for it just like everyone else. You can call bullshit all you want, but even my parents would tell you I paid for it. Hell, this is the 3rd vehicle I've owned in a year.

about the xbox, i have a modded one and I cut it down so its less than 1 inch thick. I still needed venthalation so i molded a fan (with a soldering iron) into the top to disperse heat. I wrote my last name in it with the soldering iorn cauz i was bored.

about the mods, yes, I did them all myself. I help out at a shop so I can learn how to do bodywork. I "apprenticed" for the painter and learned as much as i could. I went down to the shop to use the paint booth for the shaved doors (I was able to cut a filler plate and weld, glass, and prep the doors at home) At the shop, we had all of the primers, adhesion promoters and paint there so I learned how to go from primer to paint to clear. I hope that answers any of the haters doubts.

I am pretty lucky i dont have to pay rent or nothing. that is what really allows me to do this whole project. school does get in the way big time though. I make money and drop it all into this baby!

I do have to admit, the only thing i am going to pay to have done is my upholstry. I want a good job and dont want to learn and f*ck up my inside. I have $2100 saved up right now and Im looking around for good places that will to custom leathers.
