i have a set of polished aluminum wheels that i need to re-finish. They arent in really bad shape, just a little foggy and dull. I've heard good things about the flitz and mothers powerball but i'm not sure if that would work or not because i used a polishing compound on a terry cloth and it didnt do anything for it. A buddy of mine told me if i used the finest steel wool available, it would polish them up like new. Any other suggestions?

do NOT use steel wool on them..u can use steel wool on glass and chrome but it will scratch the aluminum...you could check like eastwood and see what they have for polishing kits and stuff

the powerball will polish them right up. it rotates hundreds of times faster than your hand since its on a drill. Its gonna take more than one time to get them perfect but will cut your time down alot and you can reuse it when they dull up again. if you dont like polishing you can invest in some zoop seal and only have to polish them twice a year or so

yea, use the powerball, may take a couple times but it works really good
