Alrigh, I just installed an Alpine CDA-9853 in my car. I decided to burn a CD with WMA files. Turns out that this head unit doesn't play CD's that are protected that have been burnt. My question is: How do I make the CD so I can play it? Like put it in an MP3 format or something? I have no clue with this stuff. I just wanted to make it so I don't have to pack around 4 CD cases inbetween cars. Any help would be appreciated.

i use my I-tunes to convert stuff to mp3 and sonic digital media.., i like sonic cuz i can make a jukebox cd with 9hours of music on 1 cd.. but they only work if your device will read that format..

What program do you use to burn them? I think if you burn them it converts them back to .cda and should play in the CD player. They play in my Ranger's stock stereo, and in the stereo in my LUV (not sure of the brand) with no problems
