s-10 led taillights

on this s-10 im working on, the owner has installed a skin with leds. the turn signals do not work. he has the TAC modules and all of that. brakes and running lights work correctly. however, the blinkers do not blink. if the brakes are not on, the respective side jsut gets brighter and stays that way. if you hit the brakes and turn the turn signal on, nothing happens.

any ideas? is it a flasher problem? or does a resistor need to be added to allow the flasher to see the correct ohmage to work properly?

to the best of my knowledge the leds are from FBI if that makes a difference.

can i find a no load flasher at discount or pep boys or someplace like that?

go to any auto parts store and tell them you want a trailer or an electronic flasher. it should be about 15 bucks

If their fbi tac units, they might have already gone to crap. I have a friend that used them and had 3 sets go bad within 1 month. If the flasher unit doesn't fix your problem, check the tac units.
