how do you guys draw flames?

im pretty sure i know the answer but i just suck at it what tool do you guys use to draw out flames in your chops? and do you use a mouse or a pad or what?cause i have a lap top so im using the little "mouse pad" thingy and my flames look like crap lol

practice up using the pen tool

I hand draw my flames when I need some...then take a good picture of it or scan it in high res.

I only have few things to work on when on the computer...I'm a lot faster with the real pen on those flames...but it's just me.

for some reason i find it easier to use the pen tool in illustrator than in photoshop. i think it basically comes down to i just have always avoided using it cause i didnt like it but i need to just practice and get better with it

there are other ways.... secrets of the trade, some of em i just don't wanna release, lol

i still doubt he will tell u his secrets

as much as i hated college and claim that i didn't learn much.... still a few good lil things came of it, too bad it all came from fellow students and not the professor, lol

i have learned way more from my friends in class just messing around with the programs waiting for the professor to show up late to class
